Hello, I'm new to working out as a disabled person. Any quads out there that can give me advice as to what equipment/exercises work for them? I ordered a Burn-Machine speed bag and the Ultimate in addition to a few free weights, arm-bike and body bars. I'm tired of feeling weak and want some confidence back when I'm in public. I've been disabled for 11 years and spend alot of time in bed for health reasons but saw Nick's video and said "enough of this crap". Jim

Welcome I;m a c-567 quad myself. I use cable weights instead of free weights because my grip sucks so bad, started out with just those sandbag ankle weights on my wrists years ago. I watch craigslists for deals on workout equipment then drag it home to fill my house with it.lol.

Thanks for the replies, do you have any pics of your cable machines? I tried looking for something but didn't wanna waste my money if it didn't work out. I got the Burn Machine speedbag(8lb) and workout bar(22lb minus weights) yesterday but was a little disappointed when I tried using them. It was hard to get my hands around the grips, awkward to use and a little too heavy TBH. I haven't done any rehab in like 7 years, went from a manual to power chair years ago and suffer from "burning pain" in my ass, legs and feet so I spend alot of time in bed. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
