Hi, I was wondering if any members Swim for cardio and such. I hear about a lot of paraplegics who have no trouble swimming. For some reason I sink like a rock. Just curious if anyone else has this problem.

I have not been swimming since before the accident in 1992. Just never felt comfortable with all of the problems that could act up.

I do but my injury is around t11/t12 so I am able to stand in the water but when I swim it's all arms. It's a workout trying to keep yourself afloat. Maybe get a vest so you can rest/float when you're tired.

I use the warm water therapy pool to do squats

I can't float at all, so I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and why I do and others don't
