Well I;m finally introducing myself. Been in a chariot since Aug 8 01. Currently trying to bust into the 160lb weight range,but as you all know its about eating big and getting great bm.s. But I'll get my diet nailed one of these days,seems like I got a ton of food allergies and intolerances after the injury or I just didnt have a clue about my body before....hmmmmm. I'm a vip or a vet on numerous bb boards and still looking to compete one day. Its come along ways from no movement twig days and would like to contribute what I've learned along the way

People with paralysis have digestive problems. It took me about 10 yrs in a chair to figure that out. Remember to eat alot of fiber. Many people think that fiber causes indigestion. The correct amount of fiber can actually eliminate most of the digestion problems regarding BMs.

It does if it,s that inulin fiber,holy hell I had gas pains so bad it was causing mild autonomic dysreflexia,this week. Yeah I'm gluten intolerent so any wheat products are out to also. I do lots of natural fruit and veggy stuff,just havnt hit the sweet spot yet

Hey welcome to the boards :D I thought I was glutin intolerant as well but for some reason all the gas issues had gone away. Probably the brand of protein instead of the wheat bread at the time. But brocolli, spinach...those hit me hard so i'll eat them when at home and i'm not expecting any company :p haha. So for bulking what does your diet look like? I'm curious because I want to put together a diet plan by this fall so I can start bulking. I didnt have too much success last time and really want to cover all my bases.

Actually I'm just putting together my new diet now. Seems the artificial sweetner sucralose and/or acesulfame potassium is toxic in my system. I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Started having digestive issues,nerve pains,all hell broke loose when i'd use slin. Started eliminating stuff in my diet and it was the last thing my list ,,,,protein powder,brand I'd been using for over a year and a half. I'm using now wpi 10lb bags now and it is all natural sweetners. FDA can kiss my ass for allowing that rat poison on the market. Still dont feel 100% and went thru a couple detoxing,bowel cleaning follow up with probiotics cleansings.
