Okay, I'm looking to lose a few pounds before the Spring Break season.

I currently work out 3-5 times a week but I can't seem to lose the belly, I'm 6'2 200. I'd like to get down to 185 or so, are there any good supplements to take before or after my workout?

Spring Break Season for next year?

What does your diet look like?

What type of exercise are you doing on your 3-5 days a week?

My advice would be to eat 6 meals a day of "clean foods" such as lean meats and protein sources like chicken, fish, lean cuts of beef, eggs. And your carb sources should be low on the Glycemic index such as sweet potato, oatmeal, wheat, green leefy veggies, green beans, brocolli, spinach...Then you need good fat sources, YES FATS, brown fats such as natural peanut butter, fish like salmon and tilapia help promote good health and burn calories. Make sure your protein is high at least 1:1 with lean body mass for example if you are 200 and 20% body fat then your lean body mass is around 180 pounds so you need 180 grams of protein per day. Break that up over 6 meals from the food sources above.

For workouts I would do atleast 30 minutes of cardio every morning atleast 3 times a week on an empty stomach followed by a good breakfast. And lift weights at least 3 days a week different muscle groups with atleast a moderate intensity with atleast 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps with 30-60 second breaks inbetween each set. If you really want to hit it hard do cardio in the morning weight train in the afternoon and cardio at night. That should trim you down.

As for supplements not sure what would help in cutting since this is a timeless debate. I used Lipo 6 but stopped taking it because I didn't lose anymore weight than I had already been losing without it. I would drink black coffee in the mornings to get the metabolism and everything going. Maybe a caffeine supplement might work.

Welcome! I don't know about supplements, but I think that doing more cardio can help with losing the belly. And now if that would work with my butt...LOL!

Michelle if you are in a wheelchair, then who cares if you have got a big butt. Most guys can sure dig it.
